Anansi and the Tug o' War
"Anansi and the Tug o' War" by Bobby Norfolk is a retelling of the African folktale about the cunning spider Anansi who, with the use of his wit, tricks two powerful friends, Elephant and Hippo, into a tug-of-war to prove his own strength by having them pull against each other while he sits in the middle pretending to be the strongest.
